The use of mirror polished steel enables large scale panels to be created. By having a mirrored surface to both sides of the sheel sheet the design can consume the original framework line pattern that occurred in the leaded light panels taht enables a wider range of pattern possibilities.
Below are a series of double-sided laser cut acrylic mirror test pieces exploring pattern. These are small scale test pieces replicating the effect of laser cut mirror polished steel. These are photographed against black and white backgrounds to enhance the visual effect generated by people viewing from both side simultaneously.
