This is laser cut double-sided mirror polished steel sheet.
This optically dynamic panel creates a fragmented reflection of its’ surrounding environment from both sides while maintaining an almost invisible, ethereal presence. This can be positioned inside or outside, in any rural or urban environment.
The laser cut holes enables an audience on both sides of the mirror panels to see through the panel to the view beyond and simultaneously see a fragmented reflection of themselves and the background behind them. People on opposite sides of the panel would be morphed together into a fragmented combination of themselves. This encourages a playful interaction as when they move they create an animated combined figure.

These are small double sided mirror polished steel experiments and a proposal for a large scale sculptural piece.
