This 310mm x 490mm leaded panel is created using 2mm acrylic mirror fixed back to back and 4mm glass. This enables viewers from both sides to simultaneously see a fragmented version of each other and themselves.
These leaded light panels also reflect the backgrounds from each viewpoint enabling the designs to explore geometric optical effects.
The 600mm x 900mm leaded light panel below utilises 4mm glass and double sided 2mm acrylic mirror.
These mocked up panels can be positioned out into the environment to create disorientating or contradictory effects. These proposals are driving the research into the practical issues of panel strength and integrity and construction.
