I tested out the idea of using 3 x 3mm aluminium panel by replaced a damaged traditional leaded light door panel with a matching three layered, laser-cut 3 x 3mm sheet aluminium panel.
The aluminium panel on the right is much stronger and lighter than a traditional leaded panel and also benefits from a shining silver outline at night!
